Mean Jean & Shannon Renee got the first shot of Detroit City Distillery’s new Orange Cream Paczki Vodka.

Paczki Day Party at Detroit City Distillery on Saturday

Shout out to Detroit City Distillery. They’re the makers of the Paczki Vodka that is made only here in Detroit. Mean Jean and I got the opportunity to tour the facility a couple of weeks ago. They have a new orange cream flavored paczki vodka and we were the first ones to taste it off of the production line. It was amazing.

Well, this Saturday is their Paczki Day party so that people who can’t celebrate on Tuesday because of work or family obligations are still able to celebrate. It’s going to be at their tasting room in Detroit from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

They’re going to have Faygo, Hamtramck bakeries with the paczkis, restaurants, and also a Shot Ski. One of those things where they line the shots up and it’s like a block long.

Monica is going to bring the R&B on Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour. They’ll be in Detroit in April.

Monica Joining Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour

Monica appeared on the Jennifer Hudson show yesterday and announced that she was going to be supporting Nicki Minaj on her Pink Friday 2 Tour. Nicki followed up with an Instagram post and she said, “I’ve said many times this woman has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was a junior in high school.”

Now, I don’t know how I feel about people saying that to me. That I’ve listened to you since I was a kid, you know what I mean? It doesn’t seem like there’s that much difference in age between them. But you also have to realize, Monica was like 15 she came out.

I’m curious if Nicki was going to have other people on that tour too, because I don’t know that I would have necessarily paired them up together by themselves because of how different their music is. Monica’s not the only one to make an announcement. You know, both Katt Williams and Mo’Nique sat down with Shannon Sharpe and Club Shay Shay on the podcast and dropped a bunch of info, or you could say mess, about other artists. Well, Mo’Nique announced that she will be touring with Katt.

That’s going to be a crazy show. You know they’re both going to be talking so much you-know-what about Steve Harvey and DL Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer. I hope they come back to Detroit because I need to go see that mess because it’s going to be crazy. They are scheduled to be in Grand Rapids in May, so be sure to keep an eye out for a possible Detroit date. I know I plan on taking my husband to the Detroit Distillery Tour. I had the opportunity to visit the facility the other day to learn about their new flavored Paczki’s vodka. They told me about the tour. He loves whiskey, which is their main liquor, so he’s going to remember this forever.
