Draymond Green Gets Revenge on Reporter in Post-Game Interview
Have have ever heard someone talk smack about you, and then when they’re talking to your face, they’re suddenly nice and act like they never said anything bad about you? Um, yeah. Well, that sort of things happens to athletes all the time, including Draymond Green. Now, in a post-game interview, Green is getting something of revenge on someone who was talking smack about him earlier in the season.
Draymond Green, of course, is a Michigan State University graduate. He was a star on Tom Izzo’s men’s basketball team during his time at MSU. Now, he’s a star player on the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors beat the New York Knicks on the road Thursday night (Feb. 29) in a hot game at Madison Square Garden. After the game, NBC sports personalities Bonta Hill, Chris Mullin and Festus Ezeli interviewed Green. The sports crew asked him about the Warriors’ game at Madison Square Garden. They were pretty much just looking for some glowing comments after Green’s big win. But, Green wasn’t having it.
Green remembers some critical comments that Hill apparently said about him when the NBA suspended Green earlier in the season. Whatever it was that Hill said stuck with Green, because the basketball player took this chance to confront Hill.
“Bonta, I’m shocked you’re talking to me. The way you were talking about me when I got suspended. I am very shocked you’re talking to me,” Green said in the post-game interview. Hill looked surprised that Green was calling him out, but he tried to keep going with the interview. All that he got out of Green was saying, “It’s always a fun game.” That was it. So, it was an awkward moment for Hill, and Green fans would say he deserved it. Green has also recently weighed in on the MVP debate, saying on his podcast that he thinks Jayson Tatum is getting the shaft.

The Minnesota Timberwolves had a big loss to the Bucks following the break, but then, they came back and definitively beat the Nets. The Wolves have been experiencing a few offensive hiccups, but they’re still one of the strongest teams in the league.

The Oklahoma City Thunder crew is on fire. Coming back from break, they totally blew out the Clippers, Wizards and Rockets. Chet Holmgren is a star here, averaging around 24 points a game.

The Denver Nuggets are another team that came out of break with fire. These guys have been on a winning streak since the break ended. Nikola Jokic has been especially strong since break, averaging around 27 points per game.

1. Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are really the strongest team in the NBA right now. They’re on a winning streak, which is nothing new for them. They have not one but a group of star players in Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Derrick White. It’s hard to see any team topping them.
