Waitstaff at Magnet, located on Grand River Avenue near West Warren Avenue, will be able to make $38,000 to $50,000 a year, with health benefits and paid vacation!

Magnet will offer every employee at least $15 an hour, but, they need everyone on board to make this a successful system.
Prices on the menu will reflect the new system but diners might not notice.

Chef Brad says he supports this movement because he wants his employees to be successful and knows the struggle since he worked his way up.
“Doing a tipped based system would be $10 on a menu, it’s probably $12 now,” he said.
“The thing is if it doesn’t work we can always go back,” he added.
Magnet opens for dinner starting Friday, Sept. 20.
