Every year, Thanksgiving is the busiest travel holiday in the United States.  People fly, drive, and ride trains all across the country to spend the day with those they are thankful for.

This year, that traveling may be a bit complicated.  AccuWeather is reporting that, starting next Tuesday, there is a strong potential for a HUGE storm to rip through the entire country.  They predict that the storm could sprawl from Western Colorado all the way to the East Coast.

The Midwest and Great Plains regions will be hit the hardest, with a high potential for blizzard conditions.  Blizzard conditions are defined as snowy conditions with 35+ mph winds and less than 1/4 mile of visibility.

Insurance company AAA estimates that, on average, 3.4 million people travel by plane for the Thanksgiving holiday, while 38.2 million people drive 50+ miles for the holiday each year.
