Today in Hip-Hop History: Cult Classic Flick ‘CB4’ Opened in Theaters 27 Years Ago
Happy Anniversary CB4!
Straight Outta Lo-Cash! The Hip-Hop parody movie CB4 was released 27 years ago today (March 12th). The film starred Chris Rock as an up and coming rapper who took on a gangsta persona and struck it big with his group.
The movie also featured a classic performance by the late Charlie Murphy as MC Gusto.
#ThrowbackThursday who remembers a movie called CB4??? Out in mid 90's I think. I still remember the lyrics to some of it. Need to watch again soon. #StraightOutaLocash pic.twitter.com/p8CkDNkFVP
