In a 60 minutes interview with Donald Trump that has yet to air, Trump DENIES saying that he would lock up Governor Whitmer.

A rally took place in Muskegon on Saturday in which “Lock her up” chants started after Trump criticized her COVID-19 restrictions. Trump did not join the chants but he did say, “Lock ’em all up.”

The interview has not aired but Trump released footage of it anyway:

Whitmer’s office responded by calling on the White House to denounce domestic terrorist groups.

Trump denied “going after” Whitmer, but he did criticize her for locking everyone down, except her husband since he “went sailing and things that he wasn’t supposed to be doing.”

Trump was vocal about his feelings towards her closing up the state saying it’s led to “suicide, drugs and alcohol.”
