#SaveOurStages: How The New COVID-19 Relief Package Will Help Entertainment Venues
Lawmakers have confirmed that the “Save Our Stages Act” is included in the COVID-19 relief package. Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, tweeted, “We secured the #SaveOurStages Act for indie music venues, Broadway, comedy clubs, indie movie theaters, and more. These are people’s jobs and livelihoods, and they need this help now. I won’t stop fighting for them”.
Several artists signed a joint letter to Congress regarding relief for the entertainment industry including Billie Eilish, Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, Billy Joel and others.
