The summer expo you’ve been waiting for has arrived in Michigan. Drip Fest is coming to Flint and it’s every sneakerhead and fashion enthusiast’s dream come true. This event isn’t just about sneakers. It’s an exchange where you can buy, sell, and trade anything from vintage tees to top-notch designer clothing.
This event is set to kick off on Saturday, June 3 from noon to 7 pm, followed by another day on Sunday, June 4 from noon to 6 pm. Make your way to the Dort Financial Center in Flint, located off I-69 at Center & Lapeer Road.
Beyond the fashion of Drip Fest, there will also be a food truck festival, bounce houses, and an array of games for kids in the parking lot. Children aged 12 and younger can enter free of charge. According to the event’s Facebook page, there will be $25 tickets available for the entire weekend.
A lineup of exclusive brands will be available for purchase including Chrome Hearts, AMIRI, and Supreme. Vendors will be showcasing a diverse range of items such as jewelry, custom rugs, and even personalized shoes.
In a recent chat with MLive, Seth Conklin, the Drip Fest organizer said that he hopes the expo becomes an annual tradition in the Flint area. Though there are similar events in Detroit Conklin also said he started the event to fill a need in the Flint community.
