It's about time for back to school. My daughter's first day is today and my stepson's too. But most kids start next week or after Labor Day. But the 5th Annual Back to School Empowerment Event is happening tomorrow at Marygrove College in the city. Families can pick up free backpacks, school supplies and more. Your student must be present at the event. There's going to be a thousand backpacks available. Like I said, it's going to happen tomorrow at Marygrove college from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. They're also going to have free haircuts and free manicures from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. So, that's a very nice thing for them to do. Cardi B. isn't playing any games with people online. She's going after a Twitter user who claimed to have evidence of Offset cheating on her.

Cardi B. Threatens Legal Action Against Online Troll

I'm not sure why people are still messing with Cardi B. and these false allegations. I mean, didn't they learn when she sued the pants off of Tasha K., that blogger, for millions? Well, it looks like another person is going to learn their lesson because this Twitter account claimed they had evidence to prove her husband, Offset, was cheating on her. The account seemed to be a Nicki Minaj fan account, and they posted an image of Offset allegedly in the middle of hooking up with a woman and even using AI voice and all this stuff. And Cardi posted that she was going to take legal action. I just don't know why people continue to do this. I mean, she's successful in the courtroom and she's going to sue you and for everything that you have and everything you will earn in the future. She's not playing no games. I wonder if other celebrities are going to follow suit? Listen to what Cardi had to say at this link... https://twitter.com/Backdoor_Bardi/status/1693809941818085512?s=20

New York Comic Con 2022 - Day 3

Drew Barrymore got a scare when a stalker approached her at an event. She had to be rushed off stage and the man was apprehended.

Drew Barrymore Has Scary Moment With Stalker

It was a scary moment for Drew Barrymore yesterday. She had to be rushed off stage at an event where she was speaking after a stalker ran up to the stage. He told her he had to speak with her while she was there in New York. He was removed and the event ended up going on, but I was just checking out these other videos of this guy online. He's clearly not mentally ok because he has gone to Walmart before and filmed himself announcing that he married Amber Heard and like recorded videos while Amber was like filming overseas saying 'Sorry, honey, I couldn't be there with you' and all this stuff. So, he's definitely one of those people that is like a celebrity stalker and and definitely needs help. Hopefully he gets that help and hopefully she gets an order of protection. UPDATE: Serena Williams wins 6-3, 6-3 against Danka Kovinic.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Serena Williams is undeniably one of the best athletes ever to compete in any sport. The 26-time Grand Slam champion will "evolving away from tennis" as she reveals in an interview earlier this month. Her longtime sponsor, Gatorade, decorated their social media profiles (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) by swapping their logo from a "G" with the letter "S" in honor of the athlete. They additionally created a two-minute ad celebrating the tennis star narrated by Beyoncé.

"When the world writes her down in history, we’ll begin where she started. At love," Beyoncé says over a flashback of Williams playing. "It’s a love that we’ll remember through the generations, a love that started a movement, a movement to always love exactly who you are and who you can be. To be so in love with your identity, that your very essence cannot be contained."

Queen Latifah, meanwhile, narrated a tribute video to Williams that aired before tonight's match.

Williams has won the U.S. Open six times and is facing Danka Kovinic in round one of the tournament Monday night (Aug. 29).

Take a look at her final time playing at the U.S. Open below:
