Michigan State Football Coach Suspended Over Sexual Misconduct

It wasn't long ago that I told you about University of Michigan Head Coach Jim Harbaugh's suspension. Well, now Michigan State University have suspended their Head Football Coach Mel Tucker without pay yesterday. There's been an investigation and they said he sexually harassed an activist and rape survivor, Brenda Tracy, during a phone call last year. Apparently he was committing a sexual act on himself while on the phone with her. Like, they were friends and then it just went left on one day on a phone call. The school hired somebody back in July to conduct an investigation into this allegation. She said that she's been re-traumatized as a victim already. And he said it was consensual. In a letter to the investigator, Tucker wrote, "Ms. Tracy's distortion of our mutually consensual and intimate relationship into allegations of sexual exploitation has really affected me. I am not proud of my judgment and I'm having difficulty forgiving myself for getting into this situation, but I did not engage in misconduct, by any definition." There is a hearing scheduled for October 5th and 6th to determine if he violated the school's policies. We'll have to see what happens with that situation.

It's being released underneath his Snoopadelic Films production company, which I didn't even know existed. There is no release date on this, but I'm definitely going to check it out. Vice President Harris Throws House Party With Hip-Hop Greats

There have been so many 50th birthday celebrations this year for Hip-Hop, but this one might take the cake. Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a concert on the front lawn of her home! Talk about a house party. I'm naming everybody. Lil Wayne, Common, Too Short, Jeezy, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, MC Lyte and Wale all performed. She said, "I would tell you as a daughter of Oakland, California, hip-hop has been a part of my life since the very beginning." Now, Mean Jean was telling me people online were criticizing her dance moves. Listen, she can dance however she wants. She was having the ultimate party at her house, she was enjoying herself. Snoop Dogg is a cultural icon, and he has also proven to be a savvy businessman. Snoop made his name in music back in the '90s when he got his start by being featured on Dr. Dre's "Deep Cover" and throughout several songs on Dre's debut solo album The Chronic (1992). A lot of times rappers "age out" of the game but Snoop has kept himself relevant on many levels and one in which is pivoting to other areas besides hip-hop. He has used his success in rap to build businesses that cater to his fanbase which has led the rapper in creating a 140M empire.

Breakfast is never boring at Uncle Snoop's house. It was announced back in August, that he would be adding cereal to his Broadus Foods company. Snoop owns Broadus Foods and Master P serves as the brand's chief executive officer. Broadus Foods houses the "Momma Snoop" brand, and it already has a host of breakfast items including syrup, pancake mix, grits, and oatmeal according to the website.

Snoop also has the liquor game on lock. The rapper is known for his 1994 hit "Gin and Juice" so creating a gin line just makes sense. Indoggo (a play on the word Indigo) is the West Coast rapper's gin line. The product is obvious but the rapper also has a host of fun cocktails to make using his gin.

If gin is not your thing, Snoop still has you covered. The rapper also has wine collaboration with the 19 Crimes brand. Snoop's wine comes in "Cali Red," "Cali Rosé," and "Cali Gold."  The wine company also partnered with Martha Stewart for "Martha's Chard" who has collaborated with Snoop many times.

Snoop Dogg has had several acting credits and has guest starred on several shows. The rapper has made an appearance in Martin, The Boondocks, co-hosted Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party and has lent his voice to The Simpsons. He's also been in several films including Training Day, Baby Boy, and many more. Snoopadelic Films is the rapper's film production company that he started in 2005. The film company has produced Bromates (2022), Hood of Horror (2006), Reincarnated (2012), and many more.

This one should not come as a surprise. The rapper got into the weed business in 2015 with his marijuana company Leafs By Snoop. In 2015, Colorado was one of the only states in the United States that allowed marijuana to be sold recreationally which makes since that Leafs By Snoop's home base is in the Mile High City. In addition to Leafs By Snoop, the rapper's media company Merry Jane has a CBD e-commerce platform. He also co-founded Casa Verde Capital, an investment fund that now has a portfolio worth at least $200 million, Tech Crunch reported last December. Through Merry Jane, the rapper has now included marijuana-infused snacks in partnership with TSUMo Snacks.
