Detroit Lions Win in Tampa Bay
Shout out to the Detroit Lions. They won their game yesterday and Mean Jean got to witness it in person because he went all the way to Florida to watch his Bucs lose against the Lions! Jean’s brother’s a fan so, I can promise you that on the drive home from the stadium he was probably giving him some business for it. Detroit beat Tampa Bay 20 to 6. Quarterback Jared Goff threw for 353 yards and two touchdowns. The Lions start the season 5 and 1 for the first time since 2011. They’ll take on the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday. Congratulations to them. I hope they can keep it up. If you missed the game, here’s a highlight video… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zpbvp1eWmAg
Suzanne Somers Loses Battle With Breast Cancer at 76
Sad news late yesterday. Suzanne Summers, you remember her from “Three’s Company” and other roles. She unfortunately passed away yesterday at the age of 76 after a 23 year battle with an aggressive form of breast cancer. It was a day before her 77th birthday. This is something that definitely hits home for me as a breast cancer survivor myself. I have followed her journey for many years and she always did things her way, the things that worked for her, and I admired that for sure. Here’s a look at her amazing life and career… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVS1wujdFC0
Mugshots of Tupac & Notorious B.I.G. Going to Auction
A pair of never-before-seen mugshots of both Tupac and Biggie are set to hit the auction block soon. Tupac’s mugshot is taken with a Polaroid and has never been released to the public. And Biggie’s comes with a signed thank you note from jail. Both are predicted to attract up to $40,000. There will also be an auction for clear footage of Biggie’s final performance, which was recorded in December 1996 during the Sting Festival in Jamaica. That’s where he had performed there in a wheelchair with his leg still in a cast after a car accident with Lil Cease. Grainy videos of that footage have come out over the years online, but this is a legit quality copy and is expected to net $1 to $2-million. I ain’t got that money. You got that money?
