Snoop Dogg Explains Why He’s Going ‘Smokeless’
Well, he got us. Snoop Dogg broke the internet when he announced last week that he was no longer going to smoke.
“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,” he said in a black-and-white Instagram post.
“I’m giving up smoke,” he added in the caption.
To be fair, Snoop didn’t say that he was going to give up smoking cannabis or cannabis in general in other ways such as edibles. However, many fans were skeptical of the announcement.

One fan noticed that the rapper didn’t clarify his statement and thought that the rapper will still consume marijuana, just not by inhaling it. “Snoop said ‘smoke’ not weed. Watch him drop a line of edibles. I’m here for that,” they Snoop said “smoke” not weed. Watch him drop a line of edibles. I’m here for that.
Snoop Dogg Is The New “Smokeman” For Solo Stove
Snoop uploaded his ad for Solo Stove — a smokeless fire pit — on Monday (Nov. 20).
“I love a good fire outside but the smoke was too much. Solo Stove fixed fire and took out the smoke. They changed the game and now I’m excited to spread the love and stay warm with my friends and family,” Snoop said in a press release per USA Today.
If you want to get your hands on a Solo Stove, the rapper’s collaboration will be released today at 4:20 p.m. EDT on solostove.com and goingsmokeless.com.
The SoloStove ad was not the only product Snoop announced recently. The “Gin & Juice” teamed up with his Potluck Challenge Party partner Martha Stweart for “Best Buds Bags.” The line combines the duo’s love for both bags and marijuana per The Source. The bags are currently sold out but you can add yourself to their email list for future drops.
