50 Cent Reveals “Magic Stick” Was Written For Trina, Not Lil Kim
50 Cent recently sat down with Apple Music and revealed a couple of interesting things. Did you know that “Magic Stick” was originally written for Trina and not Lil Kim? The song was written around the time of Get Rich or Die Tryin’, but apparently after he sent it to Trina, she had messed up the lyrics and screwed the whole song up. Then Lil Kim’s people swooped in and grabbed it for her. And, as we know, 50 and Kim started beefing not long after the song was released. He also mentioned that the first thing that he bought after getting signed by Eminem and Dr. Dre was a Mercedes Benz for his grandmother.
