DDG Defends Halle Bailey After Podcaster Calls Her ‘Ugly’

DDG does not play about his girlfriend, Halle Bailey. Elijah Schaffer, host of Slightly Offensive with Elijah Schaffer, went viral for calling Bailey “ugly” and comparing her to E.T.

“When exactly did Hollywood become flooded with ugly people?” he wrote alongside a photo of Bailey. “I say this as a 100% certified ugly person myself. We recognize our own, but he’s not even ugly hot.”

He then followed up with a photo of E.T. from the 1982 movie,” The New Little Mermaid Actress,” he wrote.

While the above post refers to Bailey as DDG’s” wife,” they are not married.

DDG Responds To ElijahSchaffer’ss Comments About Halle Bailey

DDG did not take Schaffer’s comments lightly and responded by posting a photo of Schaffer and his late mother, “I’m smokin’ on yo dead a– mama. That dumb bitch should’ve got a better doctor LMFAO.”

He then uploaded a photo of himself smoking marijuana with an image of Schaffer’s mother on end.”NGL this s— gas,” he captioned the photo. Schaffer’ss mother died in 2020 from cancer.

DDG wasn’t the only one to defend The Little Mermaid actress on social media. Fans also attacked Schaffer for his comments about the singer. “calling Halle Bailey ugly is insane. “We don’t care,” a fan wrote in response to Schaffer’s.

You attacked that girl for no reason. You could have been talking about any other” ugl” white actress (the list is long). Still, you chose Halle, so you can’t be mad at people who clap back. And yeah, no one said anything about you calling yourself ugly because it’s true. “Twitter jumping on Elijah for talking crazy about Halle is exactly the energy I love to see,” a fan responded.

  Halle Bailey looked gorgeous at the 66th Grammy Awards. She wore a nude color dress with a deep V cut. The singer changed up her locs with long dark waves. She was nominated for Best R&B Song for "Angel."

For her hair, the singer wore her gorgeous locs pulled back from her face. The dress also had a diamond collared halter which pulled the look altogether.

  For the 2021 Met Gala, which the theme was Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion , Halle wore a Rodarte bodysuit. The glittery pink fringed bodysuit was paying homage to the Queen of Rock & Roll Tina Turner. She kept her locs up in a high ponytail just in case she needs to reenact any of Turner's signature dance moves.

  For the UK premiere of "The Little Mermaid," she embodied the sweet and gentleness of her character Ariel with this look. The singer wore a long white gown that had a mix of sequins and chiffon material. The gown also had a plunging neckline and cutouts on the side. However, what really took the look to the next level was her hair piece that was encrusted with crystals.
