Wild Drama Surrounding Britney Spears
Oh boy. This morning on Shannon’s Scoop, we got into all the mess that Britney Spears has been involved in this past week.
It all started with Britney Spears verbally attacking her sister, Jamie Lynn. I guess she posted a video on Instagram that was since taken down where she called her a little sh– and a b–ch.
The video was taken while her and some friends were driving somewhere to go horseback riding, and I think that’s what prompted her comments about her sister. Jamie Lynn was on a British reality show I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, and Britney was bagging on her about that. You can check out the video in the article below.
What’s more concerning is an incident at a hotel with her boyfriend. Reports say paramedics were called after Britney had a possible nervous breakdown. Britney arrived at the Chateau Marmont on late Wednesday night with her boyfriend Paul Soliz. Apparently, there was some kind of disturbance and cops were called. Somebody had claimed that a woman matching Brittany’s description was harassing hotel guests and was off the rails.
When police showed up, they saw no signs of a disturbance or issues, and they left. Then reports say that around 11:00 PM, Britney and Paul retreated to their room, where they continued partying and drinking, and some kind of altercation happened in their room, which turned physical. They were told that Britney was screaming and out of control in the hallway of her suite, and guests thought that she was having a nervous breakdown, so paramedics were called. Paramedics arrived around 12:40 AM and they did make contact with Britney, who was standing outside of the hotel with just a pillow and a blanket.
So, this boyfriend, Paul Soliz, is her former housekeeper and he’s also a convicted felon. I guess she was having an affair with him while she was still married to her husband, Sam Asghari, which I’m sure was among several things that prompted their divorce.
Britney did address the situation that happened at the hotel on Instagram. She said, “Just to let people know, this news is fake. I would like respect at this time for people to understand. I am getting stronger every day. Truth sucks. So can someone teach me how to lie?”
And then it just gets weird with her saying, “Goddesses out there. I’m reaching my higher power. And furthermore, I hope you guys are too. I need a new toothbrush right now. P.S. I need an espresso. P.S.S., not sure why I feel the need to share this. I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period, so I’m m the b-word. Yeah, I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally They never came into my room, but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston. Peace.”
I don’t know. We’ll have to see what happens with her, but it’s kind of out of control right now. I just hope that she gets the help that she needs, because clearly, she needs it.

The spices that are added to it give it an authentic flavor. For me, authentic Mexican food represents lots of spices & has a colorful presentation. It’s also about the use of traditional kitchen tools. My Mom spent hours making food from scratch with a molcajete (mortar and pestle), tortilla press, and a comal.”
History of Mexicantown Detroit
Mexicantown is such a unique and vibrant area in Detroit. The area itself is considered to be within Southwest Detroit. While it was named “Mexicantown” in the late 80’s, the Mexican population in Detroit started setting in the area in the 1920s due to increased industrial labor jobs. Further surges of immigration decades later increased the population in the area. Not only are there authentic Mexican restaurants in the area, but brightly colored buildings are painted with amazing murals. The area is just so rich in culture.
