Another Protest in Lansing Set for Wednesday – “Operation Gridlock 2.0”
A group is planning to protest Governor Whitmer at the capital today (4/22) in Lansing, calling it “Operation Gridlock 2.0″. This protest is organized by a different group who originally planned the first one. Some of their Facebook posts have been removed. The first protest made national headlines when demonstrators did not stay in their cars.
Governor Whitmer responding saying, “While we can respect and revere the right of decent, the right to demonstrate…..Right now to do so in an irresponsible way endangers the lives of others.”
She addressed the concerns on CNN..
