Apple has unveiled four new iPhones and it’s perfect timing because I’ve just about paid my current phone off!
The new phones are:
- iPhone 12 mini
- iPhone 12
- iPhone 12 Pro
- iPhone 12 Max
They start at $699 and are expected to be faster than the previous iPhones. They kinda look different from previous iPhones:
Apple has also announced a small Siri-powered smart speaker called the HomePod mini which will only cost $100.
The new iPhones will support 5G that will increase your data speeds where it is available. Tests have shown that 5G speeds aren’t that much better than 4G. Plus, in a world where we live in a pandemic, how often are you really leaving your house and/or away from WiFi?
Of course, the new iPhones are also supposed to feature more advanced cameras, faster processing chips and are built to be more durable. Also, the new iPhones are to be released with no charger adapter and earbuds in the box. WHAT?!
Preorders for the 12 and 12 Pro start on October 16th, and the phones will ship on the 23rd. You can preorder the mini and Pro Max on November 6th with those shipping on the 13th.
