Bill Cosby Planning A Comedy Tour And Docuseries
Bill Cosby is not slowing down after his recent release from the Pennsylvania State prison last week and he already has some new projects in the works.
Cosby’s rep, Andrew Wyatt, told TMZ that he “wants to hit the road and tell jokes” and has already talked to promoters who are not opposed to having Cosby in their comedy clubs.
Not only is the 83-year-old ready to hit the club, but TMZ reported that there is also a 5-part docuseries in production. The crew has already taken interviews from family, friends, celebs and soon Cosby himself will be filmed for the series. The docuseries plans on highlighting all aspects of Cosby’s life including his long-standing legacy in entertainment, his famous trial proceedings and his experience inside prison.
“The world wants to see Mr. Cosby,” Wyatt told TMZ.
This all comes after Cosby’s surprise release from prison after only serving the minimum of three years of his 3 to 10-year sentence. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court just threw out his 2018 conviction of the sexual assault of Andrea Constand in 2004.
There is no definitive date on when either the docuseries will be released or the comedy tour will begin.
