Cory Hardrict Seems To Respond To Tia Mowry’s Comments
Cory Hardrict has seemingly responded to Tia Mowry’s recent comments about their divorce. The Sister, Sister star announced on social media last month that the two would be separating after 14 years together. The actors share two children, son Cree, 11, and a daughter Cairo, 4.
“I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” the Family Reunion actress wrote at the time. “I am grateful for all the happy times we had together. I want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”
On last week’s episode of the TODAY show, Mowry explained what led to her divorce from the All American: Homecoming actor.
“I knew when I really started to focus on my happiness. I feel like women, we tend to focus on everybody else’s happiness, making sure that everybody else is OK — meaning our children, our friends, our family — but at the end of the day, it’s about self-love,” Mowry said.
Mowry spoke highly of her marriage with Cory and what she learned while in it. “I look at it as, like, a curriculum. You’re learning, you’re growing, you’re evolving, you’re creating, and I was able to create with Cory some beautiful, amazing children.”
Shortly after the interview went public, Hardrict hopped on Instagram Live, Page Six reports. The actor didn’t speak to his viewers but fans are interpreting that his song choice – Nas’ “Reminisce” – spoke the words he didn’t say as he sat quietly in the driver’s seat.
“Reminisce / Relationships ain’t the prettiest / I was stuck on the silliness / Was it love that I was really in? / We don’t know until it really end / But then it’s too late / Reminisce,” the King’s Disease III song goes.
