Jennifer Crumbley, enters the court to hear the verdict just before the jury found her guilty on four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Mother of Oxford High School Shooter Found Guilty
I tend to keep The Scoop a little bit lighter, but there was definitely a historic verdict made here in Michigan yesterday. Jennifer Crumbley, the mother of Oxford High School shooter, Ethan Crumbley, faced the jury for her verdict. The names of the victims were read and she was convicted on four counts of involuntary manslaughter for the deaths of four students.
Craig Schilling, the father of one of the victims, Justin Schilling, spoke after the verdict and said, "It was a long time coming, but it's definitely a step toward accountability. It's not really about winning or losing. You know, it's about making it apparent that this has to stop."
I believe I read that Crumbly is facing 15-years on each count and also a $30,000 fine. Her son Ethan, the actual shooter, pled guilty and is serving life without parole. It was a historic case because this is the first time a parent has been tried and convicted for the actions of their child's school shooting. The case against Crumbley's father, James, is still awaiting trial.
Our thoughts are definitely with the families and I'm glad that they have now got some justice. Read more about the verdict here.. https://1051thebounce.com/2024/02/06/jennifer-crumbley-mom-of-oxford-school-shooter-found-guilty/

It's all about Usher. He's got a new album dropping this week, he'll perform at the Super Bowl Sunday, and tickets for his tour which includes a stop at Little Caesars Arena go on sale Monday.
Usher Announces Detroit Tour Date
Usher is everywhere. I think it was Monday that he was all over my timeline with his shirt off. Well, not only are you going to see Usher perform at the big game on Sunday, you can catch his show at Little Caesars Arena on September 12th.
He's undoubtedly going to be playing music from his new album, Coming Home, which drops on Friday. Tickets go on sale this Monday, February 12th, at 10:00 AM. That, of course, is the day after the Super Bowl, so that makes sense. He's a smart guy. They say expect VIP packages to be made available to fans as well, and premium tickets, meet and greets, and photo ops with Usher.
And make sure you're listening to The Morning Bounce the rest of this week because Mean Jean & I will be giving away tickets before you can buy them each morning at 8:20 AM with Finish the Lyric.

Snoop Dogg and Master P want answers as to why Snoop's cereal can't be found on store shelves.
Snoop Dogg & Master P Suing Walmart Over Cereal
A while ago I talked about Snoop Dogg releasing his own breakfast cereal with Master P, because Master P has his hands on everything. Well, they're taking Walmart and Post Foods to court over because they said that they have sabotaged the success of the cereal by preventing it from reaching customers through deceptive practices.
They claim that there's pictures of them intentionally holding boxes of Snoop cereal in the stock rooms of the stores marked with no location coding, preventing them from being placed on store shelves.
So, they've just been hiding in the back. But who is it? Is it employees trying to buy them for themselves? We'll have to see what happens with that case because that's a huge hindrance for them. You don't wanna mess with Snoop, especially when it comes to his money. Master P either.
