Ludacris will be back in Detroit in May. He's been added to the annual Movement Festival lineup.
Ludacris Added To Movement Festival Lineup in Detroit
The Movement Festival that happens at Hart Plaza each Memorial Day weekend is one of my most favorite festivals every single year . They previously announced that Idris Elba was going to be there and now they've made another awesome announcement yesterday. Ludacris has been added to the lineup as well.
If you went to our Bounce Holiday Heat show a few years ago, you know Ludacris puts on a show. My friend and local DJ, who has contributed so much to the music here and to the Movement Festival, DJ Godfather will be there as well. And of course, Kevin Saunderson, who moved to Belleville as a kid and is one of the Detroit techno pioneers, will be performing as he does most years.
It really is one of my favorite events to go to and just dance, dance, dance. If you come with me, just know I'm not talking to you. I'm there to dance. Check out the full lineup for Movement and get more info here... https://movementfestival.com/

Diddy leaving the New York Supreme Court in 2001 where he was implicated in a shooting at a New York City night club in December 1999.
Woman Claims Diddy Shot Her as More Allegations Made
The Diddy allegations are not stopping. If you remember, there was a big, big case in the late 90s where Diddy and Jennifer Lopez were at New York City night club when a shooting happened. The pair went running out of there but got pulled over by police.
During that time, the rapper Shyne, who was just 21 years old at the time, was singled out as the shooter. He was found guilty of two counts of assault, reckless endangerment, and gun possession and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Meanwhile, Diddy and his bodyguard were acquitted on all counts.
This shooting has been referenced in the recent lawsuits against Diddy. And the woman who was shot is speaking up about how it wasn't Shyne, but Diddy who pulled the trigger.
In an Instagram post, she said, "I am the woman who he shot in the face in that 1999, December 27, 1999, Club New York shooting. I have told everyone and never changed what I said. I watched him fire the gun. I've said it all this time. They all knew he did it. Everybody knew he did it. But he paid off the club bouncer and all these other people and the club owners with their video to hide the video. That's his M.O."
When I went to research this story, I found out that she's been saying this for years, and it's been brought up by other people too. That Diddy was actually the person who did it. And again, no one is coming out to defend him and say that this is not in his character. Here's video from the victim of that 1999 shooting... https://www.instagram.com/reel/C360KZUsZG-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Megan Thee Stallion's former bestie is finally opening up about the night in 2020 that Tory Lanez shot Megan.
Megan Thee Stallion's Former Best Friend Kelsey Nicole Talks About Her Shooting
Kelsey Nicole was integral to the incident where Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion. They said that she and Megan got into an argument that night because Megan was allegedly messing with Tory, who was also messing with Kelsey. At one point they were actually trying to say that she was the one who had shot Megan.
Well, Kelsey is finally speaking out. In an upcoming podcast interview Kelsey says, "I'm positive there was a video. There had to have been one. You're in L.A., you're in Hollywood. When it comes to a point where alcohol takes over and you become a different person, it's time to let that go. Everybody's life that night changed. So, yeah, it did end up coming out that night that she had been betraying me. Believe or not, that was my last time ever seeing her."
In the comment section of the short clip that was posted, a lot of the people said things like, 'you were playing dumb on the stand, but now you want to tell your story'. That's probably because she's being compensated for it. And I have a feeling that she was also compensated for not testifying on the stand as well.
Speaking of Tory, his legal team have filed another appeal to his 10 year prison sentence for the 2020 shooting.
The entire interview with Kelsey will be on The Danza Project podcast this Sunday, if you want to check it out.

Megan Thee Stallion Celebrated First Solo No. 1 With "HISS"
2024 is off to a good start with Megan as she celebrated her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "HISS."
"Thank you thank you thank you ! Thank you GOD, Thank you MAMA HOLLY, Thank you to EVERYONEEEEE that took the time out of their week to go hard and make this happen!" Megan wrote thanking her supporters on X (formerly known as Twitter.) "I love you I appreciate you I’m so grateful likeeee #HISS is number 1 !!! The track most notably took a shot at Nicki Minaj, who responded back with "Big Foot," referencing Megan being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez. He was convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2023.
Despite the beef, Megan was able to achieve history with this accomplishment, becoming the third female rapper to get a solo No. 1 on the chart. First was Lauryn Hill in 1998 for "Doo Wop (That Thing)" and Nicki Minaj in 2022 for "Super Freaky Girl."
Megan Teases Tour and New Album In 2024
Megan fans have something to look forward to coming this summer.
"Oh, we’re having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer tour is going to be 2024, summertime,” she said on Good Morning America in January. "I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer since, like, 2019."
In addition to the tour, the rapper announced that she will drop her third studio album in time for the summer tour.
While we get ready for a tour and album, take a look at seven of Megan's most breathtaking red carpet outfits below:

The rapper wore a mixed print one-shoulder dress that had a combination of cheetah, leopard, and zebra print. When you say it out loud, it might sound a little bizarre that a dress like this would make the best dressed list, but that's why we're thankful for the visual Megan gave us. The "Savage" rapper paired it with scrappy black heels and oversized gold jewelry. For her hair, the Houston native went with a signature sleek, straight, jet-black middle part, and her eye makeup matched the dress's various color schemes. She was nominated for Best Rap Performance for "Thot S---" and for Album of the Year for her contribution to Lil Nas X's <em>Montero.</em>

The "Plan B" rapper wore a mesh black bandeau dress that hugged her body perfectly. The dress had added panels to give it more shape, which set it off from being basic. As for jewelry, she wore blinding diamond accessories, which included a bracelet and statement choker. Her hair was jet black and straight, which was pulled back, and her eye makeup featured an intense smokey eye.

For the 66th Grammy Awards Pre-Grammy Gala, Megan wore a golden yellow halter-style dress. The dress had a jeweled neckline and two cutouts on both sides. For her hair, she kept it long, dark, and wavy. For accessories, she also kept it pretty simple with a single diamond bangle.

The Houston native was one of the recipients of the award along with actress Mariska Hargitay, poet Amanda Gorman, and more. Megan wore a black high-neck gown with her midriff being the literal center of attention, exposing her abs. She paired the striking dress with a silver clutch and black and silver-toned earrings. She decided to keep her hair in a top bun with a bang to the left side.

For the premiere of the <em>Mean Girls</em> reboot, Megan channeled Regina George and switched up her dark hair for blonde. She also wore a gorgeous purple iridescent mermaid gown with embellishments in the middle to show off her slightly exposed midriff. She was not only a guest for the film, but she contributed to the soundtrack with Reneé Rapp, who plays Regina George in the reboot with the song "Not My Fault."

(Photo by Phillip Faraone/Getty Images for GQ)In one of her more breathtaking looks to date is Megan's look at the GQ Men of the Year Party last year. The form-fitting, see-through brown mermaid dress looked impeccable on the rapper. The dress had so many details, such as the various cutouts, bead embellishments, and delicate lining. For her hair, she wore it up with soft waved curls focused on the left side of her face. The jewelry on the rapper if any was unnoticeable as the dress spoke for itself.

It was the rapper's first public appearance since the incident with Tory Lanez, who was sentenced to 10 years for shooting her in the foot in 2020. The rapper not only turned heads because of her surprise appearance but also because of her striking dress. Starting off with the dress, the rapper wore a strapless black gown in a mermaid style. Megan kept the jewelry to a minimum, wearing a diamond ring and a single-tier diamond necklace. However, her hair stole the show. The Houston native rocked her natural curls, which added to her breathtaking appearance.
