Seems like people are not ready to dine-in just yet. Is it covid? Is it inflation? Is it time? Who knows but people aren’t having it. I personally love to eat out but it’s expensive, especially when bringing kids along!

According to a recent study, 25% of diners are more likely to use dine-in. 46% of diners will opt for take out. 22% are less likely to place drive thru orders compared to a year ago. Here’s the crazy part – 70% want technologies like AI voice assistants, personalized menus and smartphone apps to help.

Have we really reached that point?

My fiance is a Doordash driver and it’s a very nice side gig. I’m often surprised by just how many people don’t feel like either leaving their home or dining in. Companies like that as well as Shipt/Instacart have to be doing well during times like these!
